Job summary

Lyft Inc. is seeking an engineer for the Airports team to ensure a dependable experience for drivers and riders at airports. You will work with multiple teams to integrate seamlessly with airport operations and manage real-time communications.

The role emphasizes writing clean code, leading features end-to-end, and participating in on-call rotations to address issues across Lyft’s applications and platforms.

Qualifications

• BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-5+ years of software engineering/production infrastructure industry experience.
• Experience with Python, Go; Proficiency in OO programming.
• Experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Ability to work with a low-ego, highly collaborative, cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-impact projects and innovate new solutions to provide the best user experience.
• Lead large features from idea to execution and launch.
• Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in on-call rotation; triage, debug and resolve issues across apps and platforms.
