Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience with Java.
• 2+ years of experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
• 2+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• 2+ years experience participating in the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• 1+ years experience in leveraging AI tools to increase productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build and contribute to technical designs and implementation in a development team that practices CI/CD.
• Develop cloud-native microservices deployed on Kubernetes and similar platforms.
• Make DevOps a primary concern by ensuring services are reliable, scalable, secure, manageable, and supportable.
• Enhance Webex telemetry systems to enable analytics, observability, and continuous improvement.
• Use Cisco-approved AI-assisted software engineering tools and agents throughout the lifecycle.
• Apply human judgment when using AI-generated content by validating code, designs, tests, and documentation.
