Job summary

Keeper Security, Inc. is seeking a QA Analyst for Keeper App focusing on backend systems powering enterprise products like EPM, Vault and Admin Console. This 100% remote role offers a hybrid option for candidates near Chicago, IL or El Dorado Hills, CA.

The candidate will validate data integrity, test RESTful APIs and ensure backend reliability across cloud environments. The ideal candidate has strong SQL, API testing experience and familiarity with microservices and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA or software testing with backend/API focus.
• Strong SQL and data integrity validation experience.
• Hands-on API testing with tools like Postman/REST Assured/SoapUI.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks for backend testing.
• Experience testing distributed cloud-backed systems; AWS preferred.
• Proficient with Jira, TestRail, Confluence for QA workflows.
• Excellent communication in an Agile environment.
• Willingness to leverage AI-assisted tools for testing and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• U.S. Person status for GovCloud involvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, document and execute test cases for Keeper backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Validate MySQL queries, data integrity across backend workflows.
• Perform functional, regression and integration testing on backend components.
• Use API testing tools to validate behavior and support automated testing.
• Test performance, scalability and fault tolerance in distributed cloud environments.
• Collaborate with backend engineers and QA to triage defects.
• Track defects in Jira; maintain QA docs in Confluence; report test results in TestRail.
• Contribute automated backend and API tests to CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure security-sensitive testing aligns with Keeper quality and compliance.
