Job summary

Addepar is seeking a backend Software Engineer to join the Platform Integration team in New York. You will build client onboarding data systems to bring client data onto our platform, enabling reporting, analysis, and centralized data access.

You will collaborate with Product and Client Solution teams to understand data needs, design scalable workflows, and deliver high-quality data solutions with strong ownership and communication.

Qualifications

• Backend software engineer with Python/Java and relational databases.
• Strong ownership mentality and communication skills.
• Experience with data processing and scale pipelines; PySpark or similar frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data systems that reliably process large volumes of client financial data.
• Identify and resolve scale bottlenecks as data volumes grow.
• Collaborate with Product, Client Solution teams, and other engineering teams to deliver onboarding solutions.
• Communicate technical ideas clearly and influence engineering direction.
