Job summary

Addepar is seeking a backend Software Engineer to join the Platform Integration team in New York. You will help build client onboarding capabilities to bring data onto our systems for reporting, analysis, and unified access.

Work with Product and Client Solutions teams to design scalable data workflows and ensure onboarding is reliable, fast, and easy for clients’ financial data. Ideal candidates have backend experience (Python and/or Java) with relational databases, and comfort tackling data

Qualifications

• Backend software engineer experience, preferably with Python and/or Java and relational databases.
• Strong ownership mindset and clear communicator; take ideas from inception to production.
• Comfort solving data scale and performance issues; optimize pipelines and workflows as data grows.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to build and maintain data systems that process large volumes of client financial data.
• Identify and resolve scale bottlenecks as data volumes grow.
• Collaborate with Product, Client Solutions, and other engineering teams to deliver onboarding solutions.
• Communicate technical ideas clearly and guide engineering direction for projects.
