Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC in Austin, TX seeks an experienced software engineer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-class web services on the J2EE platform. You will participate in all phases of the SDLC, implement secure REST services using JWT/OAuth, and own the service stack end-to-end.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with JBoss/WebSphere, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and cloud-based web applications, along with familiarity with test frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, and Selenium.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in server-side/web services development on the J2EE platform.
• Experience in all phases of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle).
• Developing applications utilizing any J2EE Application Server, and implementing Authentication/Authorization and caching strategies.
• Experience implementing REST services with JWT, OAuth, and related standards.
• Experience developing reusable modules and owning the services stack for enterprise web services.
• Hands-on experience with JBoss or IBM WebSphere Application Server 8+.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum).
• Experience with CI/CD methodologies and containerized deployments.
