Autopilot, a leading fintech trading app, is hiring a Backend Engineer, Infrastructure in New York, NY. This on-site role focuses on building scalable cloud infrastructure and robust backend systems to support fast growth and reliable deployments.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years in backend engineering, strong TypeScript skills, and experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional backend engineering experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in TypeScript for backend development; other languages considered.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and scalable backend systems.
• Strong emphasis on reliability, observability, and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and backend systems powering the trading platform.
• Improve deployment pipelines and developer tooling for reliable releases.
• Build resilient distributed systems and optimize database performance at scale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Contribute hands-on to drive impact in a fast-growing fintech environment.
