Job summary

FINBOA in Houston, TX is seeking a Client Implementation Engineer (Back End) - Level 1 to support backend configuration, data workflows, and automation during client onboarding. You will configure batch processes, optimize queries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.

The role requires 3+ years in customer-facing SaaS back-end support, strong SQL, Azure experience, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

High school diploma (required).
3+ years in customer-facing roles such as technical support or customer success.
2+ years of experience in a SaaS environment focusing on back-end support.
Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
Experience with Azure cloud services and implementing Azure-based solutions.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting expertise with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in task prioritization and agile methodologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Implementation Support: Configure and support back-end requirements for projects, including batch processing, data exporting/importing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and clients to define and implement project-specific configurations.
Compliance: Maintain compliance standards and manage change control processes for all implementation projects.
Client Interaction: Communicate technical specifications, enhancements, and solutions to clients in a clear, approachable manner.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor batch processes, resolve errors promptly, and document software bugs for troubleshooting.
Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
Resource Management: Use project management tools (e.g., Asana) to track tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
Cloud Deployment: Deploy and manage FINBOA solutions within Azure environments, ensuring compatibility with marketplace containerization.
