Job summary

Rescale is seeking a systems-oriented Software Engineer, Backend engineer to own end-to-end delivery of core backend functionality for customers and rapidly iterate on product ideas.

You will work with teammates to build and maintain high quality automation for building and testing our main customer-facing platform, and develop critical areas including identity management, elastic cloud workstations, and workflow automation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building and operating performant backend systems in production.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Expertise or strong interest in web performance, cloud deployment, and security.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of core backend functionality for Rescale customers and rapidly iterate on product ideas.
• Build and maintain high-quality automation for building and testing the main customer-facing platform.
• Develop and maintain critical backend areas such as identity management, elastic cloud workstations, and workflow automation.
