Role Overview

We are seeking a backend engineer passionate about improving reliability, scalability, and efficiency of mission-critical services. You’ll develop new services and tackle long-tail problems with existing ones, playing a key role in improving customer experiences and contributing to our culture of innovation.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to scalable services deployed across multiple regions
• Within 30 days: understand and improve existing services, analyze cost models
• Within 90 days: lead development of new services, participate in architecture discussions, and enhance libraries
• Within 1 year: collaborate on scalability improvements and backend-user-facing integration

Requirements

Hard Skills:

• Proficiency with k8s and Go, understanding of garbage collection and profiling; Cgo experience is a bonus
• Familiarity with GCP/GKE, Linux, Docker, Ruby/Rails, Redis, ffmpeg
• Experience at scale in SaaS/PaaS environments, video streaming experience is a bonus
