Job summary

Arta Finance is building the core systems that power its wealth platform. The role focuses on high-reliability financial systems where correctness and latency matter. You’ll design and implement trading, ledger, and billing components, plus data pipelines and APIs for internal and external use.

Collaboration with ML teams may occur, but system reliability remains primary. You’ll work on real-time and batch data flows, interface with modern infrastructure, and help scale the financial and data

Qualifications

• Backend or systems engineer with distributed systems experience.
• Experience in financial systems or data infrastructure.
• Strong design, reliability, and latency focus.
• Proficient in Python or similar.
• Familiar with infra like Kafka, Kubernetes, cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core financial systems (trading, ledger, billing).
• Develop systems for transaction processing, reconciliation, and portfolio state management.
• Build real-time and batch data pipelines.
• Architect APIs and backend services for internal and external use.
• Ensure system reliability, observability, and fault tolerance.
• Contribute to distributed systems design (event-driven, microservices, streaming).
• Collaborate with ML teams to integrate models into production systems (not core).
