Kapitus, Inc. is seeking a skilled backend engineer to design, build, and maintain software for internal customers. You will focus on Python and Flask, develop services on AWS, and work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

You will mentor juniors, participate in architecture decisions, and help define deployment pipelines. A Bachelor's in CS or related field is required, with 5+ years in backend development and a passion for code quality.

Formación

• 5+ years of Python experience and Flask expertise.
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, Cognito, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB).
• 2+ years Salesforce experience.
• 3+ years CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
• Experience writing clean, well-documented code with modern practices.
• Experience in an Agile environment using Scrum.
• Experience in financial services or lending is a strong plus.
• Certification in AWS is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Define architecture, patterns, and engineering practices for a new platform.
• Develop backend services in Python, mainly with Flask.
• Build and integrate AWS-based solutions (Lambda, Cognito, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB).
• Maintain deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver.
• Partner with Tech Lead and Engineering Manager on technical decisions.
• Mentor junior developers on Python and engineering practices.
