CoStar Group in Richmond, VA is seeking a Software Engineer II to help build the next generation of backend services, APIs and integrations within the finance tech org. You’ll work on moving data between external platforms and our enterprise system, enabling configurable, reusable services and enhancing payments data visibility.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, design patterns, and modern data tooling, with in-office Mon-Thu and Fri from home flexibility.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required in-person from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of professional experience in server-side software development with strongly typed languages.
• Experience with relational databases and query optimization.
• Experience building scalable APIs and integrations across REST APIs and messaging/event systems.
• Ability to design configurable, reusable frameworks for multiple integrations.
• Strong CI/CD, IaC, automated deployments and source control knowledge.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend apps and APIs using .NET, SQL and related data tools.
• Promote maintainable, well-tested code with clear separation of concerns and design patterns.
