Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer II to join our Richmond, VA team. You will work on highly visible web applications used by millions, building reliable, scalable systems and improving deployment practices.

You will collaborate with product teams, implement CI/CD, monitor performance, and design cloud architectures leveraging AWS, Azure, and on-premise resources. The role is office-based Monday–Thursday with remote work option on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited University or College.
• 4+ years experience with automation (Config Management, Scripting, IAC, Security).
• 4+ years experience with hybrid cloud and on-premise environments (AWS, VMware, Azure).
• 4+ years experience with containerized environments (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, Fargate).
• 4+ years experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, AppDynamics).
• Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with Product teams to manage systems and services that provide reliable and scalable solutions.
• Utilize continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) using latest DevOps tools and innovative methods.
• Pro-active monitoring, analyzing metrics, implementing best practices, and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Create Cloud Architecture and designs based on project requirements.
• Creating processes and integrating around new and upcoming technologies.
