CoStar Group in Richmond, VA is seeking a Software Engineer for the Data Management team to expand and enhance the data platform powering CoStar Suite, LoopNet, and Homes.com. You will own data ingestion and ensure accuracy, reliability, and integration across the full data lifecycle.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues end-to-end, leveraging AI to improve data quality, and building scalable, maintainable systems using C#, .NET, SQL Server, AWS, and React.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 4+ years of full-stack development with C#, .NET, React, JavaScript, and relational databases.
• Experience designing large-scale distributed, service-oriented apps.
• Data modeling, SQL development, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with AI tools, LLMs, or agent-based architectures.
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms.
• Understanding data quality, governance, and data-centric design.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain large-scale distributed, API-driven systems.
• Develop AI-powered solutions and intelligent workflows.
• Improve monitoring, observability, diagnostics, and reliability.
• Build automation to streamline research and information discovery.
• Collaborate with Product, Research, and Data teams on AI opportunities.
