Job summary

FIS Management Services, LLC in Jacksonville, FL seeks Software Engineer II (Backend-Microservices Architecture, Cloud/AWS) to develop backend code using Java, Python, .NET and JavaScript in a cloud environment. You will design APIs, work with relational and NoSQL databases, and ensure PCI security compliance as part of routine development and testing.

Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible per company policies, with a hybrid work model in place.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, IT, MIS or related field with five (5) years of relevant experience.
Experience with Java, Python, .NET and JavaScript; API design and integration using modern services.
Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases; Oracle/MySQL/MS SQL Server/DB2 or Hadoop.
Experience with back-end technologies including Java, Python, .NET, Ruby; front-end tech like HTML/JS/jQuery; APIs, services and web frameworks.
Familiarity with PCI security standards and compliance in development environments.

Responsibilities

Develop backend code for microservices in a cloud-based environment.
Design and consume APIs, integrate with external services and databases.
Test, validate and document code changes; ensure PCI compliance where applicable.
