FIS Management Services, LLC in Jacksonville, FL seeks Software Engineer II (Backend-Microservices Architecture, Cloud/AWS) to develop backend code using Java, Python, .NET and JavaScript in a cloud environment. You will design APIs, work with relational and NoSQL databases, and ensure PCI security compliance as part of routine development and testing.

Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible per company policies, with a hybrid work model in place.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, IT, MIS or related field with five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Java, Python, .NET and JavaScript; API design and integration using modern services.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases; Oracle/MySQL/MS SQL Server/DB2 or Hadoop.
• Experience with back-end technologies including Java, Python, .NET, Ruby; front-end tech like HTML/JS/jQuery; APIs, services and web frameworks.
• Familiarity with PCI security standards and compliance in development environments.

Job Description

Job Description FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer IIs (Backend-Microservices Architecture, Cloud/AWS) in Jacksonville, FL to develop basic to moderately complex code using a front or back-end programming language within a platform as needed in collaboration with business and technology teams for internal and external client software solutions. Create and deliver routine program specifications for code development and support on a project/issue with a moderate understanding of the application / database to better align interactions and technologies. Analyze, modify, and develop basic to moderately complex code / unit testing to develop application documentation. Perform testing and validation requirements for basic to moderate complex code changes. Perform corrective measures for basic to moderately complex code deficiencies and escalat[?] alternative proposals. Apply a moderate understanding of procedures, methodology and application standards to include Payment Card Industry (PCI) security compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: coding, designing, developing and analyzing data with IBM Rational Tools; working with front/back-end languages/technologies including Java, Python, .NET, and JavaScript; analyzing corresponding end language/technology from modern programming languages used in the enterprise utilizing APIs, external Services, and with both relational and NoSQL Databases; designing with Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Manipulation Language (DML) using databases including Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, IMS, DB2, and Hadoop; working with Back-end technologies including Java, Python, .NET, Ruby, Mainframe COBOL, and Mainframe Assembler; working with Front-end technologies including HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and CICS; working with Web Frameworks/technologies including Node.js, React.js, Angular, and Redux; utilizing Development Tools including Eclipse, Visual Studio, Webpack, Babel, and Gulp; and implementing Mobile Development with iOS and Android. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills.
