Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking a software engineer to join an Agile team in Atlanta, GA. You will contribute to sprint deliverables, develop backend services in Golang, and integrate with GraphQL/REST APIs while leveraging Docker and Kubernetes in a cloud environment.

You will design, test, and document solutions aligned with business needs, promote quality practices, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and iterate rapidly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; 3 years experience.
• 3 years of software engineering experience.
• 3 years backend development with Golang.
• 3 years integrating with GraphQL and/or REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Golang, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with public clouds (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD: Github, Github Actions, Jira, Test Automation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and be accountable for sprint deliverables.
• Implement sprint feature stories and unit tests.
• Define, build, support and document solutions based on business needs.
• Design software with functional and non‑functional requirements in mind.
• Apply design patterns and best practices; promote quality‑upfront and BDD/TDD.
• Collaborate across teams to remove silos and deliver features.
• Diagnose and debug issues across system and dependencies.
