Qualifications

• Diagnose and debug issues within the system or downstream dependencies, coordinating with other teams for timely resolution.

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer (SW Engineer II) at NCR Voyix, you will drive back‑end development and API integration within an Agile environment, building robust solutions that align with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all Agile ceremonies and activities, being accountable for sprint deliverables.
• Implement Sprint feature stories and unit tests, ensuring high‑quality code and required test coverage.
• Define, build, support, and document solutions based on business requirements.
• Design software with functional and non‑functional considerations, using core design patterns and enterprise best practices.
• Promote quality‑up‑front, test‑driven and behavior‑driven development, supporting Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
• Collaborate to eliminate silos, contributing to design, implementation, testing, and delivery of features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent foreign degree with evaluation by a professional credentials service.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in software engineering, focusing on backend development.

Required Skills

• Proficient in Golang and backend development.
• Experience integrating with GraphQL and/or REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency with issue tracking tools such as JIRA, and test automation.
• Understanding of databases, including MongoDB Realm, Bigtable, and BigQuery.
• Knowledge of end‑to‑end systems development life cycles.

• Annual salary range: $109,930 to $142,300
