Job summary

NCR Voyix Corporation, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable data synchronization systems in a cloud-edge environment. You will develop Golang services for data pipelines and work with CouchDB, Redpanda, and GCP Pub/Sub to move data reliably across distributed platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go preferred).
• Experience with Linux or macOS environments and Git-based workflows.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and Docker containerized applications; familiarity with cloud environments (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate systems enabling reliable data synchronization (cloud edge).
• Develop services and components in Golang to support highly available data pipelines.
• Work with CouchDB, Redpanda, and GCP Pub/Sub topics to enable scalable data movement.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and developer tooling via GitHub Actions, Argo Workflows.
• Contribute to internal tooling and development for replication and encryption services.
• Own problems end-to-end, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot complex issues such as network failures, data inconsistencies, and distributed edge cases.
• Improve system reliability, observability, scalability, and performance.
