Job summary

Rune Technologies is seeking a senior Backend Software Engineer focused on Distribution to design and build production systems that manage logistics networks within TyrOS. You will own services that model distribution, coordinate movement, and maintain robust state across distributed components.

Qualifications

• 7+ years backend or distributed systems experience with ownership of production software.
• Experience building production systems in logistics, transportation, or supply chain domains.
• Experience with real-world planning or operational decision-making software.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and development of backend services supporting Rune’s distribution capabilities across TyrOS.
• Design systems for end-to-end logistics workflows including transportation, routing, and dispatch.
• Translate real-world logistics workflows into durable domain models and APIs.
• Build systems reconciling inventory, demand, transportation, location, and priority across networks.
• Develop production-grade services in Go and integrate into TyrOS.
• Integrate optimization and planning capabilities into operational software.
