Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering in scientifically or mathematically complex domains.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or Go.
• Production-quality software engineering focused.
• Math or science background (degree, graduate work, or professional experience).

Responsibilities

• Build and own production-grade simulation and forecasting software for TyrOS forecaster.
• Implement mathematical models and numerical methods in code.
• Collaborate with forecaster lead and platform team to integrate simulations into TyrOS workflows.
• Contribute to design discussions and code reviews with engineering rigor.
• Triage and debug production issues to ensure reliability and rapid iteration.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and military stakeholders to meet sustainment requirements.
