Strategic Resources International USA in Bellevue seeks a software engineer blending AI and backend mastery to advance production systems. You will work with Claude Code and other AI tools, building robust microservices in Java with Spring Boot.

Qualifications include 1+ year AI experience and 5+ years in software engineering, strong data structures and algorithms, REST/gRPC APIs, and experience with CI/CD and code reviews. Familiarity with databases and messaging systems is a plus.

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of professional in AI with 5+ in software engineering experience with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Hands-on, real-world experience using Claude Code in development workflow — not just casual/occasional use. Experience with other AI coding assistants/agents (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, etc.)
• Proficiency in Java and backend frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot (or equivalent enterprise Java stack), plus familiarity with at least one other modern language (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of backend fundamentals: REST/gRPC API design, relational and/or NoSQL databases, messaging/queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices: version control (Git), CI/CD, testing methodologies, and code review processes.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code
