Job summary

Strategic Resources International Inc in Bellevue, WA seeks experienced software engineers with a strong AI background to join our backend team. You will work on scalable services and integrate AI tooling into production workflows.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional AI experience with 5+ years in software engineering, strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Hands-on experience using Claude Code in development workflows, not just casual use; familiarity with other AI coding assistants.
• Proficiency in Java and backend frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot; familiarity with at least one other modern language (Python/TypeScript/JavaScript/Go).
• Solid understanding of backend fundamentals: REST/gRPC API design, databases (SQL/NoSQL), messaging/queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and microservices.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices: Git, CI/CD, testing, and code reviews.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional in AI with 5+ in software engineering experience with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Hands-on, real-world experience using Claude Code in development workflow not just casual/occasional use. Experience with other AI coding assistants/agents (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, etc.)
• Proficiency in Java and backend frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot (or equivalent enterprise Java stack), plus familiarity with at least one other modern language (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of backend fundamentals: REST/gRPC API design, relational and/or NoSQL databases, messaging/queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices: version control (Git), CI/CD, testing methodologies, and code review processes.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code
