Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Software Engineer to build and operate backend services powering the aiR generative AI platform. You will work at the intersection of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and applied AI, delivering reliable, scalable systems on multi-region, multi-cloud environments.

You will design high-quality backend services, collaborate with engineers to meet ambitious goals, and help advance AI-driven workflows with secure, efficient processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience building backend services in C#, Python, or similar.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and backend design.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, secure backend services for Relativity's aiR platform.
• Work across multi-region, multi-cloud environments to route AI traffic.
• Implement asynchronous job orchestration and distributed processing.
• Write unit and integration tests with strong test strategy.
• Improve tooling, workflows, and development practices.
• Participate in pair programming to raise software quality.
• Ensure reliability and fairness across workloads.
