Job summary

Doppel is seeking an experienced backend engineer to build and scale an automated system that assists Security Analysts in detecting and neutralizing threats. This role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, AI-driven automation, and collaboration with a high-performing SF team in-office at least 3 days a week.

You will work on scalable systems to monitor threats, mentor engineers, and contribute to a culture of ownership and rapid delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as a backend engineer owning end-to-end releases.
• Experience building automated systems to verify and neutralize threats using AI-driven automation.

Responsibilities

• Play a critical role in building systems that protect billions from AI-generated scams and digital harm.
• Own end-to-end delivery—from collecting product requirements to releasing and iterating on shipped features.
• Mentor junior engineers and help shape the team roadmap and culture.
• Participate in monthly in-person team events and activities in SF.
