Qualifications

• 5–7 years in product security or related field.
• Experience applying AI and agentic workflows to security reviews and remediation.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security and IAM.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing coordination, threat modeling, and risk assessment.
• Proficiency in Python and cloud-native programming or scripting for automation and IaC.
• Familiarity with least-privilege IAM and access reviews.
• Ability to clearly communicate security risks to engineering and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and engineering teams on architecture reviews, threat modeling, and secure design.
• Evaluate and roll out AI-assisted security workflows to increase coverage and accelerate reviews.
• Improve and maintain security tooling, including in-house ASPM platform.
• Strengthen security controls across the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Serve as a GCP security SME for networking, data protection, and workloads.
• Implement least-privilege IAM and durable guardrails via IaC.
• Drive vulnerability management from triage to remediation and risk acceptance.
• Coordinate penetration testing engagements and remediation/remediation retesting.
• Shape and scale the product security program by identifying gaps and communicating risk to leadership.
• Enable engineers with documentation, guidance, and mentorship.
