Lumos is redefining governance for AI agents and is hiring a Software Engineer to help build a new product from ground up. You will ship backend features quickly, ensuring value to customers and participating in an on-call rotation. You’ll work closely with customers and teammates while growing alongside a fast-moving, metric-driven team.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent track record of shipping real products.
• Strong backend fundamentals with APIs, databases and services that run in production using Python, Postgres, OpenSearch and gRPC on AWS.
• You're AI native and understand how agents work under the hood: tool calls, MCP servers, hooks and context.

Aufgaben

• Ship backend features end to end from customer ask to production, often in days.
• Deliver value to customers and participate in on-call rotation.
• Build testing systems and harnesses that let agents ship changes safely.
• Work directly with customers when issues arise.
• Explain system architecture and whiteboard it for teammates when needed.
