Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking a Software Engineer, API Integrations to join the AI Engineering team. You will design and ship reliable connectors, APIs, services, and a scalable integration platform that safely accesses external data sources at scale.

You will partner with product, engineering, data teams and internal users to translate needs into production-grade systems, improving speed, quality and reliability of TRM’s external data connections to support safer financial systems worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Familiarity with third‑party API integration patterns (auth, retries, rate limits).
• Experience with databases and data pipelines; strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain third‑party API integrations powering TRM’s products.
• Develop scalable integration infrastructure and internal tooling.
• Build reliable APIs, backend services, and data pipelines for high‑volume usage.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data, and stakeholders to define roadmaps.
• Improve quality, observability, and reliability of the integration platform as usage grows.
