WEX is offering a Software Engineer Intern opportunity across the United States, including remote, hybrid, and onsite paths. The 13-week paid program runs from late May to mid-August, with mentorship and real-world projects that can lead to full-time roles.

You will work on modern cloud infrastructure, backend services in C#, and AI-driven development, gaining hands-on experience alongside senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng or related field with sophomore year completed.
• Foundational experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and C# through coursework or projects.
• Familiarity with Azure and Python; AI tool exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build Infrastructure & Tools: containerize apps and manage deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure.
• Develop Backend Services: write C# code for internal tools and backend components.
• Leverage Modern AI Workflows: utilize Cursor and AI agents to streamline development.
• Learn & Collaborate: work with senior engineers on CI/CD, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices.
