Job summary

WEX, a global commerce platform, offers a 13-week paid Software Engineer Internship running from late May to mid-August. You will work with engineers and Product Managers to build scalable cloud applications and AI-driven features, gaining hands-on experience in modern engineering practices.

You’ll collaborate on full-stack work with React and C#/.NET, explore AI agent frameworks, and learn high-availability architectures.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS/ML/SE or related field, with sophomore year completed.
• Hands-on experience with React, C#/.NET, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of software architecture, microservices, or RESTful design.
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks and LLM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Ship full-stack features using React and C#/.NET with basic DB interactions and API development.
• Prototype and deploy AI agents or LLM integrations to automate workflows.
• Learn system design concepts across microservices and cloud architectures.
• Collaborate, apply TDD/BDD, and receive mentorship on high-availability systems.
