WEX is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to help build resilient backend systems and AI-integrated workflows. You will design scalable APIs, work in cloud environments, and collaborate with product managers.

You will gain hands-on experience with RESTful services, SQL Server, and Azure, while learning modern AI toolchains and agile practices. The 13-week program offers mentorship and potential full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, ML, Software Engineering, or related field and will have completed at least sophomore year.
• Proficiency in C# (preferred) or Java, and solid SQL skills.
• Experience with API design, backend architectures, and Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Develop Backend Services: design RESTful APIs, microservices, and pipelines using C# or Java.
• Database & Cloud: write SQL for SQL Server and support deployments on Azure.
