Responsibilities

• Carry orders to tables and serve plates.
• Assist chefs with expediting orders, garnishing, and quality checks.
• Read food tickets and deliver plates to tables.
• Remove dirty dishes and restock at the dishwashing station.
• Notify the expediter when tables are ready to be served.
• Replenish stations with supplies and beverages.
• Break down and clean work area and store perishables.

Pay Range: $500 - $600 / week

Clyde's Restaurant Group, which owns 14 concepts in the DMV, is proud to introduce Ebbitt House, a sister concept of the historic Old Ebbitt Grill.

Opening October 2026 at Reston Station on the Silver Metro Line, Ebbitt House will serve up Old Ebbitt Grill’s iconic American classics, twice-daily happy hours, an oyster-fueled raw bar, and towering seafood displays.

• Flexible availability to work mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and weekdays as needed

What You Will Do As a Back Waiter

• Carry the order in hand or on a tray to the table and serve the plates for the customer at the table
• Assist chefs with expediting orders, including assembly, garnishing, and inspecting the delicious food dishes for quality and visual appeal of the plate
• Read the food ticket, pick up plates, and organize them in hand or on a tray for delivery to the tables
• Remove dirty plates, glasses, and utensils from other tables and deliver them to the dishwashing station
• Notify the expediter of other tables ready to be served
• Replenish the stations with product and supplies including hot water, brewed coffee beans, tea, milk, utensils, plates, bread, butter, jellies, other garnishes, and condiments
• Break down and clean work area, store perishable product, clean equipment and supplies, and restock to end of day par levels
