Reworld is hiring a Back Plant Operator in Newark, NJ to ensure safe, efficient industrial disposal operations. You will run and inspect equipment, troubleshoot issues, and follow strict safety procedures and checklists.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work rotating shifts across our facility with comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational tasks and inspections using industrial equipment and hand tools.
• Complete routine equipment inspections and document details per procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and file repair requests via work orders.
• Use weekly books and checklists to perform function checks.
• Safely perform lock-out/tag-out procedures for maintenance teams.
• Take on additional duties to ensure safe, efficient operations.
