Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Back Plant Operator to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operations of our industrial disposal systems and equipment. This on-site role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and experience with heavy industrial equipment.

You will perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and support maintenance teams while adhering to safety procedures and company values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational tasks and inspections using designated industrial equipment and tools.
• Complete routine equipment inspections and document details per facility procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report issues via defined work orders.
• Use weekly activity books and checklists to verify functional and safety status of equipment.
• Safely perform lock-out/tag-out procedures to support maintenance teams.
• Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe, efficient facility operations.
