Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Back Plant Operator to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operations of industrial disposal processes. You will operate heavy equipment and follow strict procedures to keep the facility running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work rotating shifts. You will perform inspections, document findings, and participate in lock-out/tag-out safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience operating heavy industrial equipment
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections utilizing various types of designated industrial equipment and hand/power tools
• Complete routine inspections of assigned equipment and document details in accordance with facility procedures
• Troubleshoot assigned equipment and responsibly report issues and repair requests utilizing defined work order processes and procedures
• Utilize weekly activity books and critical items checklist to perform operational and equipment related function checks
• Safely perform lock-out/tag-out processes of equipment in support of assigned maintenance teams
• Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
