Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Back Plant Operator to oversee the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operation of industrial disposal processes at our Maryland facility. You will operate heavy equipment and perform routine inspections while following strict safety protocols.

You will troubleshoot equipment, log findings, and coordinate with maintenance teams using work orders. This full-time role involves rotating day and night shifts, physical demands, and a competitive benefits package including

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and GED Works program are preferred
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Experience operating heavy industrial equipment is required
• Must be able to work rotating shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections utilizing various types of designated industrial equipment and hand/power tools
• Complete routine inspections of assigned equipment and document details in accordance with facility procedures
• Troubleshoot assigned equipment and responsibly report issues and repair requests utilizing defined work order processes and procedures
• Utilize weekly activity books and critical items checklist to perform operational and equipment related function checks
• Safely perform lock-out/tag-out processes of equipment in support of assigned maintenance teams
• Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
