Job summary

GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Back Office Supervisor to oversee the medical assistant team, coordinate patient flow, and support clinicians with clerical and organizational tasks.

You will coach staff, conduct performance reviews, and ensure efficient patient care processes while maintaining compliance with office policies. High school diploma or MA diploma required; at least one year MA experience requested.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent experience as a medical assistant in a medical facility.
• Knowledge of EMR systems and clinical workflow.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Gastroenterology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily MA team activities and scheduling.
• Provide coaching and conduct performance reviews.
• Serve as first contact for employee issues or disputes.
• Assist with patient care workflows and exam/procedure coordination.
• Handle clerical tasks such as records, referrals, and appointments.
• Support department operations and ensure patient rights are respected.
