Job summary

GI Alliance seeks an experienced Medical Assistant II to support both clinical and administrative functions. You will assist physicians with patient care, manage patient flow, perform clerical tasks, and handle charting and communication with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Education aligned with CMA/MA training: HS diploma/GED or accredited MA diploma.
• Minimum one year of recent medical facility MA experience; gastroenterology preferred.
• Level II requires greater independence and responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care and clinical tasks per provider instructions.
• Perform clerical duties: scheduling, records, check-in/out, insurance verification.
• Maintain patient flow, charting, vital signs, and patient education support.
• Adhere to safety, privacy, and organizational policies; respond to emergencies.
