Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or 2 years MA experience required.
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR card required.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
• Attention to detail, multi-tasking and flexibility required.
• Strong computer skills with experience using medical systems required.
• Ability to operate general office equipment (fax, copiers, etc.).
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology required.
• Strong multi-tasking, planning and organization skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first clinical contact for SAMP patients and create a positive first impression.
• Provide back-office medical assistant support and customer/patient services in-person and by phone.
