Job summary

Las Vegas Urology LLP is seeking a Medical Assistant who is patient-focused, dependable, and thrives in a team-based environment. You will support clinicians with exams, procedures, and patient education in a busy Las Vegas clinic.

Required: high school diploma or GED; CMA preferred; bilingual English/Spanish a plus; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. This role involves clinical and clerical duties in a medical setting.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with clinical and clerical functions in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and preparing them for exams.
• Assist with in-office procedures and instrument setup.
• Manage control logs and ensure compliance documentation.
• Perform wound checks, suture/staple removal, and educate on wound care.
• Specimen collection and handling (venipuncture, urinalysis, prostate tissue).
• Administer injections (Lupron, Depo-Provera, Testosterone, Collagen testing).
• Catheter insertions/removals, voiding trials, bladder instillations, and teaching self-catheterization.
• Conduct impotence testing (Doppler, Biothesiometry).
• Review lab results and communicate with patients; prepare charts.
• Perform general clerical duties (scanning, faxing, emails, record keeping).

What You'll Be Doing:

You’ll support our clinical team and physicians in delivering excellent patient care through hands-on procedures, documentation, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rooming patients and preparing them for exams

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
