Foresight Bank, a Northern Illinois community bank with multiple offices, seeks a Deposit Operations Specialist. You will process back-office deposit tasks, handle non-post items, NSF/OD processing, and assist with CD/IRA renewals in a compliant, timely manner.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of banking experience.
• Deposit Operations and Jack Henry knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of related banking regulations desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily back-office operation functions to ensure accurate processing and verification of duties.
• Handle non-post items and stop payment requests in a timely manner.
• Process NSF/Overdraft processing including returns and notifications.
• Assist with overdraft program tasks and with CD/IRA renewals as needed.
• Maintain daily GL balancing, reconciliations and notices related to deposit accounts.
• Provide backup support to other Deposit Shared Services departments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act, FACT ACT, CRA and EEO/AA/Fair Employment Practices.
