Job summary

Chick-fil-A New Baltimore is seeking a daytime Back of House Team Member to support quality food prep and fast, friendly service.

You'll master kitchen stations, maintain a clean, organized environment, stock inventory, and follow Chick-fil-A safety standards while delivering the high standard of care customers expect. This is a part-time role with early shift hours and weekend availability is helpful.

Qualifications

• Availability to work 5:30 AM–5:30 PM.
• 15–25 hours per week.
• Friday and Saturday availability required.
• Must be 16 years old to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble and present food to Chick-fil-A standards.
• Master all kitchen stations (breaded items, fries, assembly, prep).
• Keep kitchen clean, organized and safe.
• Stock inventory and monitor freshness of ingredients.
• Follow food safety procedures and Chick-fil-A quality standards.
• Complete daily opening and closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with team and leadership.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to leadership.

Your Role – Back of House Team Member:

As a BOH Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring food is prepared safely, quickly, and to Chick-fil-A’s high standards, including:

• Preparing, cooking, assembling, and presenting food with excellence
• Mastering all kitchen stations (breading, fries, assembly, prep, etc.)
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
• Stocking inventory and monitoring freshness of ingredients
• Following food safety procedures and Chick-fil-A quality standards
• Completing daily opening and closing tasks as assigned
• Communicating clearly with team members and leadership
• Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to leadership

What We’re Looking For:

• Availability between 5:30 AM and 5:30 PM
• Working 15 - 25 hours per week
• Minimum of 30 hours of availability
• Friday and Saturday availability required
• Cheerful, positive attitude and a heart for serving others
• Dependable and consistent work ethic
• Customer service mindset with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
