BOH TEAM LEADER - HIRING POSTING

Position Summary

The BOH Team Leader is a developing leader who continues to execute at a high level while learning to lead one specific kitchen

area and approximately 2-4 Team Members during a shift. Team Leaders provide direction, communicate expectations, delegate

tasks, coach execution, protect food safety and food quality, and support Coordinators.

What You’ll Do

Take ownership of one assigned Back of House area while continuing to model excellent Team Member execution.

  • Lead approximately 2-4 Team Members by communicating expectations, delegating tasks, following up, and keeping the team engaged and productive.
  • Provide base-level coaching and reinforce Performance, Attitude, Chemistry, Coachability, and positive Influence.
  • Protect food-safety, food-quality, cleanliness, and operational standards within the assigned area.
  • Recognize when execution is off standard, correct appropriate issues in the moment, and seek Coordinator support when needed.
  • Communicate operational needs and bring potential solutions to Coordinators and higher leadership.
  • Teach and reinforce correct execution using approved restaurant training tools and standards.
  • Continue developing the communication, judgment, situational awareness, business knowledge, and leadership skills needed for Team Leader responsibility.
Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $22.00-23.00 per hour.

Work Schedule: This is an hourly role generally expected to work approximately 20-40 hours per week based on business needs. Schedule requirements may include opening, closing, peak periods, weekends, and special events.

Work Environment

This position is performed in person at Oroville Chick-fil-A. The restaurant environment may include prolonged standing and walking, reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, repetitive motion, heat, cold, noise, wet surfaces, and cleaning products.

This position is performed in person at Oroville Chick-fil-A and may include Front of House, Back of House, or cross-training assignments. The restaurant environment or this position may include prolonged standing and walking, reaching, bending, lifting, pushing and carrying 40 pound bags and boxes, repetitive motion, heat, cold, noise, wet surfaces, and cleaning products.

Essential functions include performing basic mathematical calculations, memorizing menus, and multi tasking.
