Hello Hilo in Gainesville, GA is a new fast casual restaurant bringing Hawaii-inspired eats to the community. We are seeking Back of House Team Members to help us create experiences by sharing irresistible food and the Aloha Spirit.

A Back of House Team Member may work as cook, fry, prep, dishwashing, or assembly. You will contribute to quality, speed, and safety while upholding our welcoming, inclusive 'Ohana culture.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant/kitchen operation.
• Proficient in English with clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math and computing skills.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must be flexible on schedule and process.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsabilités

• Prepare all dishes on the menu with an emphasis on taste and food quality to exceed all expectations
• Ensure proper presentation of plates in a timely manner to guests
• Keep food areas organized and ready for daily business and rush times
• Understand and comply with all general and specific safe job procedures (knife safety, slip-resistant shoes, proper lifting)
• Follow procedures to label, date, and store food
• Organize and maintain incoming products and storage
• Execute exceptional cleanliness standards in all tasks
• Complete side work and cross-trained duties as needed
• Maintain high standards of food, service, health, and safety for all staff and guests
