SSP America is hiring a Kitchen Cook to join our Back of House team. You will receive orders, prepare and plate dishes, and maintain a clean, well-organized station to ensure quality and efficiency during fast-paced shifts.

You’ll follow recipes, practice portion control, and stock the kitchen as needed. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within SSP America.

Qualifications

• Must follow all recipes and practice portion control.
• Maintain daily kitchen setup and stock levels.
• Ensure health standards through cleaning and safe handling.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and portion control to prepare, garnish, and present items.
• Maintain proper and adequate kitchen/station setup daily.
• Requisitioning and stocking all required food, paper products, and condiments.
• Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.
• Set up, maintain, clean, and breakdown machinery and equipment.
• Maintain stock, cut, and store perishables daily for quality.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
• Take responsibility for the quality of products served.
• Perform general cleaning tasks per supervisor to meet health standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
