Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes - Evansville is seeking motivated Back of House team members to be cross-trained in baking and frosting, handling large batches, pre-paid and walk-in orders, and ticket management.

Candidates should enjoy multitasking, pay attention to detail, work quickly, and be dependable in a team setting. Training is available for qualified applicants; physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Prior frosting, baking, or general kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Willing to train dependable candidates and teach the standard baking process.
• Able to multitask, maintain attention to detail, and work at a fast pace.

Responsibilities

• Gather ingredients, utensils and pans.
• Mixing, scooping, and packaging large batches of cakes.
• Ticket rail management.
• Commercial oven management.
• Washing pans, utensils and containers using a commercial dishwasher.
• Using pastry bags to frost cakes.
• Cleaning and upkeep of baking and frosting areas.
• Receiving and shelving truck shipments.
• Using FIFO method to rotate ingredients.
• Following food service health and safety standards.
