Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an Industrial Automation Controls Technician to diagnose and repair PLC-driven automation assets and keep production lines running at peak efficiency. You’ll work hands-on with PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, and robotics, collaborating with automation engineers to optimize performance and prevent downtime across high-speed material handling systems.

This role requires strong electrical schematics reading, safety awareness, and the ability to translate root-cause findings

Qualifications

Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled automation assets to restore throughput quickly.
Interpret electrical schematics and diagrams for complex automated systems.
Experience with VFDs, servo drives, and robotics in manufacturing environments.
Exposure to industrial automation programming and SCADA monitoring.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair issues on PLC-controlled automation assets to restore throughput quickly.
Maintain and support industrial robots, conveyors, sensors, and motor control systems.
Troubleshoot VFDs, motion/drives, and electrical control panels; perform fixes.
Collaborate with automation engineers to improve machine performance and reliability.
Execute preventive maintenance on automated production lines to prevent downtime.
Respond to equipment stops, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
