Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a hands-on automation technician to build, stabilize, and elevate automated production. You will work with robot cells, PLC/HMI controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and soldering to keep lines running and drive improvements.

You’ll troubleshoot Level 1 tasks on startup/shutdown, changeovers, and basic robot programming; advance to Level 2–3 duties such as PLC logic edits, vision calibration, and training technicians.

Qualifications

• Level 1: Start up and shut down equipment; perform changeovers.
• Level 1: Troubleshoot basics across pneumatics, soldering, robots, and fixtures.
• Level 1: Track PMs and logs in CMMS; follow safety rules.
• Level 2: Diagnose PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, servo drives, vision systems.
• Level 2: Read electrical schematics and blueprints; replace components.
• Level 3: Edit robot paths; calibrate vision; modify PLC/HMI; draw schematics.
• Level 3: Lead training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Level 3: 7+ years in automation/maintenance; advanced programming.

Responsibilities

• Start up/shut down equipment and execute changeovers.
• Troubleshoot across pneumatics, soldering, robots, and fixtures.
• Diagnose PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, servo drives, and vision systems.
• Extend to programming and optimization duties, including QA and training.
