Motion Recruitment Partners (MRP) is seeking a Backend Engineer to join its Platform Engineering and Developer Experience team in the Waltham, MA area. You will focus on improving CI/CD, cloud-native platform services, and developer productivity, with a strong emphasis on AI-driven development practices.

The role is hybrid, onsite three days per week in Waltham. You will work across cloud infrastructure, automation, and developer tooling to enable teams to ship software more efficiently.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience within cloud-first environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering impactful technical initiatives.
• Strong programming experience with Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience improving developer workflows and engineering productivity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in advancing AI-driven development practices, helping to create a future where intelligent tools assist engineers throughout the design, development, testing, and deployment process.
